I’m a little torn. On the one hand, I don’t speak for anybody but myself, and nobody speaks for me except me. I didn’t vote for Trump, but I preferred him to Kamala Harris. That doesn’t mean I’m an unthinking yes-man, a MAGA drone, or a Trump apologist. If I agree with him, I’ll say so. If I don’t, I’ll say so. For example, I’m quite worried about the effects of Trump’s tariffs—which go into effect today—on our economy. We’re going to experience some pain, and I don’t know that it will be worth it. In fact, nobody knows. I’m certainly not going to cheerlead a decision that’s going to hurt Americans before it helps them, if it does in fact help them.
(Oh, and in this bonus episode, I let slip who I did vote for. Watch to find out!)
