My Episcopal minister, whom I loved as a brother in Christ, used to say you don’t fall out of love, real love is never ending in God’s realm. So you never were in love in the first place. I thought it a bit harsh. But truth often hurts.
So, Glenn, you will always be a child of God, He doesn’t fall out of love with you even if you do so with Him. Your in and out of love with God makes no difference. As the scripture goes: “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. NIV Romans 14:8.
