I was put off by the same things that made everyone else wonder how you got a presidential candidate like this. I think I understand things better now in that he filled a void carved out by elites. I also think it possible to concede that he in some areas confronted problems more honestly than possible inside the hot air balloon that the collective left has become. So a not uncommon take in these forums.
