I have to wonder if you have ever interviewed Dr Tony Sewell who runs the Generating Genius charity in the UK which is focused on getting more Black and Minor Ethnics in STEM (https://generatinggenius.org.uk/) and has had great success. He is currently heading the UK government's Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities which is due to be published soon.
