Your vigorous defense of intellectual curiosity and the need for it in academia and elsewhere was as articulate and cogent as any I’ve ever read. And I believe Harris’s rather weak response that perhaps there are some subjects so fraught or disquieting that we should simply ignore them and compel others to do so too is intellectually dishonest or at least very weak.
