We were already pretty far into the ultra-woke tent, just before the 2020 Floyd hyper-fertilization. The explosion. Like, when I googled for it, high on the screen were articles that all gave it kudos, but with a woke take, eg, how the skit cleverly skewered the stereotypical nature of predicting the race of the perp for a particular sort of crime. Is that wrong? Well, if youre a betting person and you'll get paid for the right "stereotypical" prediction, you will acquire quite a pile of money. Like if you live in NYC and watch local news. Violent crime? Robbery? Carjacking? Night after night after night, it is overwhelmingly black ppl doing the crime. This is not unique to New York. But I guess making generalizations based on evidence and experience is likely a white supremacy holdover, soon to be whisked away like punctuality and math and all those other terrible things.
