What I meant was, whatever his doubts, Trump should have conceded the electoral outcome and stepped aside gracefully once his options in the courts had been exhausted. He, like any losing candidate, was entitled to raise questions about irregularities in 2020. (Such questions have been raised about past presidential elections -- 1960, 2000, and 2016, e.g.) Saying "If they stole it, they stole it fair and square..." was simply my way of allowing for the possibility that some improper behavior may have occurred that could not be credibly verified in court...
