To steel-man Sharpton, (not that I think he deserves it, but anyway,) he may have really meant "nothing that merited the deadly level of force used against him". That said, the distinction definitely should have been pointed out. It galls me incredibly that people lump together Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, and Breonna Taylor with George Floyd and Michael Brown. There is a WORLD of difference between these situations, broadly speaking. (And there are definite gray area cases like Eric Garner.)
