What, if anything, do you guys consciously do to get out of your "bubble"? There are so few places where people of different socioeconomic status and backgrounds mix with one another now - even grocery stores and big box stores are status segregated, so where do you find connections with really different people? Vacations to rural destinations seasonally populated by fellow high socioeconomic status high achievers don't count.

What are your thoughts about current day advertisements? Related questions are below:

- Do you like the fact that a very substantial number of advertisements show black people (way higher percentage than the demographics indicate)?

- Do you (and others) feel patronized by the many advertisements showing black people?

- Are the advertisers "preying" on minorities?

- Many advertisements, such as car advertisements, show happy black families with two kids and a husband and wife; this seems like a nice, positive portrayal of a family; are these types of advertisements well received or mocked by people in black communities?

- They often show mixed race couples; are the advertisers attempting to make cultural statements to promote all-inclusiveness or are they thinking they can appeal to two different groups in one advertisement by including a mixed race couple?
