There is a huge difference between wanting equality and wanting equity. You didn’t deny that equity is about equal outcomes. Btw Whites pay taxes to educate black kids too (and I am following your form of capitalizing one race over another and not treating them as equaling deserving of capitalization).

You keep shifting topics. Critical Race Theory is looking at whether institutions and structures are dealing with issues in a racially biased way. Equity is not CRT. Insuring that students attending a school have been fed breakfast would be an example of equity.

The AP style guide issued in 2020 said lower class “black” referred to a color. The AP also capitalized Indigenous. Asian American, Native American. The AP did not suggest capitalizing white because of a historic connection with White Supremacy. If you have a problem, you should contact the Associated Press.

Hiding racism behind a racist AP decision is not becoming. It’s like saying “oh this standard says we should refer to blacks as Africans and so that’s what I do even if they find it offensive”. Capitalizing one and not the other is straight up racist.

You brought in CRT. It is likely that the grandparents who screamed profanities at Black children attending newly integrated schools. These grandparents obviously do not want their grandchildren to see pictures of their grandparents protesting integration. At any rate, those protesting teaching history are literally on the wrong side of history.
