I think people consume Trump rallies in one of two ways:
1. His MAGA die hards attend them and love everything he says and does without condition.
2. Everyone else (supporters and detractors) see the 1-2 minute clips that circulate on social media. Supporters circulate clips that they think make him look good and detractors circulate clips that they think make him look terrible.
My point being, nobody but his die hard stans sees the full unvarnished Trump. (Well, metaphorically unvarnished, anyway, they do see the bronzer.)
I'm not sure that he can stay coherent and on messge for the full 90 minutes of a debate. I think he'll ultimately refuse to debate while trying to claim Biden is the one refusing.
That is exactly my point--we have enough evidence to show that we won't have a debate but just a series of rants by Trump. He will think he did wonderfully because his stans on Truth Social will tell him so.
