TGS Live: Argentina Bailout, Nobel Prize in Economics, Another Civil War & More
My team and I are gearing up for the next livestream, which is happening this Friday, October 17 (that’s tomorrow) at 1:00 PM EDT. I can’t wait to get back on the mic and talk with you all, and I wanted to drop you a line to tell you about some of the topics we’re cooking up.
Trump’s $40 billion loan (or bailout, depending on how you view it) to Argentina raises some questions—it’s good to strengthen our relationship with a regional ally, but is Trump selling out US farmers in the process? The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics was announced this week, and yours truly was cited in the relevant paper. I saw Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film One Battle After Another, and I gotta talk about it with you guys. Tucker says civil war may be upon us—is that hysteria or foresight? And Barack Obama was the guest for the final episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. Obama says Americans shouldn’t be so focused on money and materialism—pretty rich, coming from him.
We’ll see how much of this we get to tomorrow, and how much more we add before then. We’re still pulling together material. So if you’ve got a news story you think would make good fodder for conversation, drop a link in the comments. I want to know what you’re thinking about, and I want to hear from you directly. Tune in and call in during the show.
You’ve got options for viewing tomorrow’s livestream (that’s Friday, October 17 at 1:00 PM EDT). You can stream it from my X page, YouTube, Substack, or StreamYard.
The stream is free to all. You don’t have to be a full subscriber to watch or call in. But you do have to be a member for access to full video of the stream after it’s over. The Glenn Show is almost entirely viewer supported, so to those of us who are already full subscribers, let me extend a heartfelt thank you. And if you’re not yet a full subscriber, please consider becoming one. The Glenn Show can only do what it does through the generosity of viewers and listeners. For a mere $6/month or $50/year, you’ll get weekly episodes of The Glenn Show earlier than their public release, monthly Q&A episodes with John McWhorter, access to the full Substack archives, and other exclusive bonus content.

Why did you allow Robert Spruill to take the wheel of the show??? It's so dreadful!
Trump responds to No Kings rallies by posting an image of him dumping feces on protestors from a jet aircraft. This is the man Stephen A Smith wants Jasmine Crockett to appease.
