I plan on going through this roughly in order, but I do want to comment on something Mr. Chaix said was important to him to include in the documentary. That is the side by side footage of Officer Chauvin's knee on the side of the Mr. Floyd's neck and the body cam footage of the same. This video clip and still frame was introduced by the defense into the trial on Day 6. I thought that it was quite ironic for the defense to show this. In isolation it appears to support the defenses case, but if you have watched the entire series of video, this clip comes after the EMTs have arrived and taken Floyd's pulse and just before he is loaded onto the stretcher. Both EMT's Seth Bravinder and Derek Smith testified on Day 4 that after Smith examined Floyd, he went back to the ambulance and told Bravinder that Floyd was already dead. It is only after this point when the EMTs return to Floyd and start to load his body onto the stretcher that Chauvin gets up off Floyd's neck/shoulder.
