Lol - my grandmother was Latvian and I have always imagined walking up to blacks and asking them how much they know about Latvian history. I am guessing they couldn’t even identify where the country is on a map. Just recently an American black girl was asked what the capital of the USA was and she looked dumbfounded and couldn’t answer. We live in an absurd and incredibly stupid age.
I agree, we have a problem with intelligence throughout the population, from anti-vaxxers to all sorts of conspiracists. The is a very strong anti-intellectualism in the US, too many people do not value education nor expertise. How can a modern industrial country operate well with so much stupidity and willful ignorance? Not well.
