If the sexual revolution is characterized by more open conversation about sex and birth control, then no. If you are talking about larger societal changes that made men not feel obligated to marry if his girl got pregnant… or to stick around after it was hard, then maybe? I’d suggest maybe the problem is male entitlement to sex with the the requisite responsibility for its consequences.

Or, conversely, a deliberate strategy by the female to pressure the male into marriage and, failing that, an abortion of the child.

If intentionally getting pregnant was a successful strategy to get a man to marry you, how is it that “75% of black children are born to single mothers”? Clearly, it isn’t. Further, if these plotting schemers had an abortion after “failing” in coercing marriage of this poor unsuspecting guy, there wouldn’t be a child.
