Precise, very helpful, albeit brief, discussion of approaches to race issues. Love to hear more from Erec Smith.

This is better than any professional sports match Erec Smith is right on about our college and universities the DEI racket. Like Erec and Dr Glenn I avoid colleges and universities even companies that force you to sign a DEI statement. As a creative oriented guy I feel odd, pledging allegiance to an ideology locking in your attitude, that would restrict my personal authentic self. I mean colleges and universities don't care about transparency, accountability, positive outcomes all about racial loyalty or pledging to be an "anti-racist" give me a break this is bullshit against the backdrop of wage stagnation, cost of living, crime real-life issues that hurt working and middle-class people some with college grads with degrees that don't pay off ROI-->Low Return on Investment. Damn these DEI bureaucracies are a safe harbor for unemployable Phds in the humanities, social sciences, arts, even education taking away precious dollars from needed programs in career development and services, financial planning or assisting grads and parents paying off student loan debt. Sure I got a few cheap degrees but I am all for eliminating DEI or rebranding DEI into something that directly benefits their customers that's right customers. Happy Holidays, Feliz Navidad Erec, Dr.Glenn-Enjoy your holidays everybody.

I would like to hear Glenn comment on this behavior by the President of Brown University. I find it unconscionable, and am glad we already cut this school from my daughter’s application list.

Wow. I guess she didn't want to lose her cush job to the intolerant left. The Ivy League has become an embarrassment.

a lot of problems could be solved if socioeconomic status was used as the primary metric of aid support rather then what a person looks like .

How do I say this gently? DEI is a bunch of bullpuckey. How does one define diversity? My family is multi-racial. Are we diverse enough? Not diverse enough? Who decides?

And what is equity - is that "you have something I want so you're going to give it to me?" Is anyone asking Oprah to divest her billions to her white neighbors since she has more "equity" than they do? Is "equity" whatever you want it to be? Unlike the word "equality", equity is a meaningless term.

And inclusion? Are black-only spots on campus "inclusive"? I guess trannie athletes competing in women's sports fit the bill. What all three of these terms have in common - diversity, equity and inclusion - is that they defy any clear definition. They can't be measured. They are intentionally vague. They are terms of manipulation. And they are especially insulting to those they purport to favor.
