And yet, Democratic policy and messaging conveys, in the eyes of many critics, a profoundly patronizing attitude toward the very people that are so central to its election strategy. I'll be more at peace when this cruise ship that I'm on finishes its sail on the Red Sea (merchant ships being targeted with rockets/drones by Muslim extremists) and in the Gulf of Aden above Somalia (high pirate threat). Because of the Hamas-Israeli conflict, we tried to cancel this trip to the Middle East. However, NCL refused to refund our prepaid fare or replace it with a future cruise. The passenger capacity on this ship is 2,600. However, there are currently about 1,500 passengers on this ship, I guess the 1,100 didn’t want to take the risk and forfeited their full fares. 😀

Interesting how when one hears of advancements in medicine, science, agriculture, engineering, energy, telecommunications, finance, and labor saving devices, one thinks of one group.
And when one hears of carjackings, drive by shootings, looting, low test scores, administrative incompetence, and the inability to compete in a modern society without massive intervention, one thinks of another.
