I am so sorry and distraught about your membership to the Manhattan Institute being revoked. I don’t understand how they can go from applauding you and lavishly supporting your efforts and then changing their minds and in an email, cut you off with no explanation! What hypocrites, I don’t like those people at all, not even a little bit. I just want you to know I support your show and you 100%. As a white person raised in the 50,s and a product of the 60’s very tumultuous period of our history I applaud your clarity ability to articulate to the common folk ie. myself. They are so wrong 😑, you are a great man !! 🩷
Loury and McWhorter argue that Black students are being prepared for a battle that ended long ago. When a plane crashed into a helicopter earlier this year, Trump blamed DEI. He didn’t require evidence. No one was surprised by his rant because he argued in the recent past that Black people were consuming their neighbors pets. Loury and McWhorter are saying they have left the battlefield.
The cultural argument is an ancient dodge. William Hannibal Thomas, a Black man who served with the United States Colored Troops during the Civil War, argued that Black people were simply incapable of development. He was criticized by both Booker T Washington and W.E.B. Dubois, but fits neatly into the characterization of Blacks by Conservatives.
Kamala Harris is DEI, but a white conman can be elected President twice. Katanji Brown-Jackson is DEI, but “I like beer” Kavanaugh is quailed. Lloyd Austin is DEI, but Hegseth who disregards security measures is qualified. A guy who swims in Escherichia coli infested water and says “Don’t take health care advice from me”, despite that being his job is qualified. etc.
Trump is setting scientific research back to the dark ages and Conservatives stand by in silence. The Chinese will be the winners by default. The take home message is that the so-called Conservatives living in the United States have nothing of value to offer. For them, Blacks will never be good enough. Step off of a narrow path and you will be dismissed.
I'm sure there are exceptions, but, in general, the college environment is one of the safest places to live with all kinds of services and people who are willing to help others. Does there really need to be a specially appointed black person to help the black students because they have special problems? What about the students who are too shy to even make it to the counselor's office when they have a problem? Who helps them? Should there be a specially appointed counselor who specializes in Native Americans? What about all of the other unique problems, too numerous to mention?
The idea that an individual professor or administrator who offers advice and comfort is even remotely the target of those who object to the odious DEI regime, is a straw man.
But you got one thing right, in applying the "great" modifier to Stanley Crouch.
I have grown increasingly fatigued with the relentless focus on race and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). There are so many other subjects that demand and deserve our attention.
The real problem is that any organization's resources are or at least should be considered finite. With college tuition costs rising to the ridiculous, allocating resources to a fictional good like DEI is very counterproductive, notwithstanding its questionable educational value.

Sounds like the chickens are coming home to roost.
Ketanji Brown Jackson couldn't hold Thurgood Marshall's jock strap.
Looks as if a lot of people don't have enough sense to be embarrassed..
