Might be good to extend subscribers subscriptions for a month?

Congratulations on the realization that it is time to reassess one's social place in time, space and presence. I had just about reached the same conclusiion that although the show had over the years informed me, it was rapidly going down a rabbit hole. This is an appropriate strategic move. I advise you to reasses your natural subjective biases in a hope of imprioving objective truth. You will propably lose some audience but open yourself up to a far greater audience. You definitely have the brains and talent, on the other hand, your ingrained sentiments and family ties will restrain you. Good luck.

Yes, please do so. I’ve taken a break from watching your content two months ago. I felt your topics are too repetitive and the guests have been less interesting. I do hope you all come up with something more different and fresh. I look forward. Please take care and enjoy!

Enjoy yourself, Dr. Loury. I hope your back has been holding up. You've looked significantly svelte recently.

Glenn, I hope that when you return, you eschew the Thomas Sowell heuristic that's obsessed with attacking affirmative action and DEI. I'm exhausted with polemics masquerading as scholarship when all it says, repeatedly, ad nauseum, is not all statistical variance is caused by racism or discrimination. For god's sake, most semi-conscious people know this intuitively, so why continue to beat a (very) dead horse?

Take some time during this hiatus to learn the Israel perspective. Perhaps seek out the podcasts, or even a conversation, with Haviv Rettig Gur. You’ll learn something.

Thanks for informing your audience. Hope you continue. It is refreshing to listen to a couple of men (you and John) who can give "us white folk" another perspective on life/political issues/etc.

Suggestion: you might entertain discussing these current issues with people from other "walks of life" like Chinese, Hispanic, Native Indian, East Indian, recent African immigrants. The MSM concentrates its attention to "spoiled American youth" who truly believe their "rights" are being abused.........most have never read about the history of abused people across historical times across the rest of the world. Enjoy your rest.

Don't blame you. My age is in the middle of yours and John's and I've spent enough of my lifetime with deadlines and commitments. I've often thought that if you and John went back to once-a-month like in the old days, I wouldn't mind. Instead of scrambling to find a topic, you might find yourself scrambling to say everything you wanted in that once-a-month hour. I enjoy the additional content, sure, but no one wants it to become drudgery for you.

I hope the recent brouhaha with MI isn't getting you down. It's power politics for political ends. There are certain groups/issues around which we are forced to walk on eggshells. For Trump and Trump supporters, nothing was off the menu, and the vitriol resulted in two barely failed assassination attempts. No eggshells to walk on there, though, just sweep it all under the rug and have the media in unison call Biden sharp as a tack. And, look, I voted for Bill Clinton and Obama, so I'm hardly a right-winger, but the propaganda tide only moves in one direction: leftward, cementing the power and wealth in Washington, DC.

Do what you want to do. I remember a prominent pro golfer, Rory McIlroy, being asked to describe his perfect day. He said it was a day when he didn't have to do anything. No tournament, no travel, no publicity events, no photo shoots, no interviews. That suits me, but I'm not a high-profile high achiever. Your mileage may vary.
