Once again, we see copout of adults. Students are still children, even in university. They have near zero of life’s experiences and little in the way of knowledge derived from experience. The idea that they are prepared to participate in “radical democratic” anything is, prima facie, absurd. The young have much in their favor, in particular time, but they cannot have one attribute that only knowledge coupled with experience can provide: wisdom. Pretending they have wisdom to design their own pathway to a satisfying life is a fools errand. It is for adults to provide them with the guidance and to be sure they recognize and respect the authority conferred by adult wisdom. To do otherwise is to fail to prepare them with the tools to pursue a satisfying life. “Racism” is just a ruse to avoid the hard work of preparing adults for the real world. The kids in question here are in for a rough ride unless some adults step up.

I read this and the article in Compact beforehand. My view is Vincent for what he so richly deserves because he has been teaching students that they are oppressed and victims and he still continues to do so by saying Keisha is a victim. What BS. Blacks are victims of black crime in overwhelmingly numbers; victims of atrocious education due to black politicians and teachers; and victims of father-less kids and households because of black men bailing out, and victims of poor work and study because of black affirmative action policies that favor those who don’t work or study as hard as those who don’t qualify for those legal biases.
