Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery, Glenn. As others have also shared, I discovered your podcast in the summer of 2020 and have been a regular listener since. Thanks for all you do to encourage heart felt, intellectual, and respectful debate in these contentious times in America. I will keep you in my prayers while you are away. God bless!

Best wishes for a successful outcome and speedy recovery! Sorry to hear you're dealing with this. You'll be missed on the pod, but I know John will do a great job holding it down until your return. I learn a lot from you both and don't agree on every single thing, but love the informed and deeply thoughtful perspectives. As Keith Ellison said, you're providing an invaluable, rational and respectful place for great conversation and dissent. I was impressed with the way he came on the pod to have a great talk, and value your contributions to the cultural conversation so much.

Professor Loury; do not hesitate to create a “GoFundMe” page for medical expenses. Your show is at the top of my list. I look forward to your speedy return.

Glenn,

As you struggle with this health problem and recovery from the surgery, I hope you find strength and solace from what you have accomplished. With exceptional effort, struggle and talent you have forged yourself into the GREAT man that you are. You are such an important voice to the country that, with all of its shortcomings, you love.

There are millions who hope for the speediest and fullest of recoveries.

We do so not only for your sake, but for ours also. For we know how much you have given to us and how much more you will.

Over the many years that I have rarely, if ever, missed one of your offerings. I have composed 1000 thank yous, in my mind. Thank yous that I have never sent.

Thank you Glenn.

Yes, your work is very important.

You are important.

While I don't pray I do love. Deeply.

We are contemporaries. I will be loving you very much as you pass through this. I hope for peace in your body.

Ps. I am a life long "leftist." I have learned so much from you. How many laughs? How many awakenings?

Yes: You are important.

Best to you and a very speedy recovery. Know that the Glenn Show is one of those shows that puts faith back in things. The McNeil-Lehrer News Hour (with McNeil and Lehrer) up to 2011, Nightline with Ted Koppel, C-Span with Brian Lamb; today -- Good Fellows (Hoover), The Dispatch, et al . Various opinions, good arguments. I don't have to agree with everything and that's not why I visit The Glenn Show. I visit to learn things and when I hear a good argument here, I change my opinion.

Glenn,

My best wishes for a speedy recovery! Once you get past that first post-surgery recovery period (which always causes us to question why we did such a crazy thing in the first place), I hope you can take advantage of the well-deserved break to relax, read good books, watch good movies, and enjoy -- that much more -- your friends & family!

Looking forward to your return!
