Glenn's point about the "JD Vance is a DEI hire" is so correct - it was a desperate attempt at an attack, it only stuck with too clever by half people who willfully ignore the definition of DEI (picking people based on immutable characteristics rather than their achievements).

You COULD return sans John McWhorter - the podcast is not worth the time spent listening ever since JM revraled himself, and then never truly apologizing.

I enjoy your written work so much more. Loyalty to your friend is an honourable and admirable character trait, so I'll not begrudge you that.

I WILL say that you are known by the company you keep, and JM is no enhancement to your otherwise sterling reputation.

How has John McWhorter not enhanced the discussions that the Glenn Show has brought to all of us?

John McWhorter is a upper case 'WEEVIL', whereas Glenn Loury is a lower cae 'weasel'.

This is now the wrong episode--it's the Braver Angels discussion, not the election discussion. Please fix! (I downloaded it, too, from this page.)

I stopped this when John said the Republican Party has been taken over by lunatics.

The GOP has been taken over by the populist right no nothings.

The Democrats have also been taken over by extremist, except the antisemitism has surprised me.

The Chinese money's on Harris. And Harris can always pull the Maduro Option.

With all of the press and Intelligence agencies behind her, it looks as if the Junta will stay in power.

It's the height of hypocrisy for the Biden administration to say Maduro has rigged the election, ALTHJOUGH THERE IS NO PROOF. Don't get me wrong, Maduro rigged the election. It's just that there's no proof. In America, 'no proof' means we're supposed to pretend it didn't happen.

Hey Glenn, I'm so glad you get to spend time on the Outer Banks with your family. My mom lived in Kill Devil Hills for over thirty years, so that area is my old stomping ground. My dad and I ran a 100k race down there last March, and of course, North Carolina is my home state. Enjoy!
